When I am not ruminating over the ever more tenuous plight of the world, I try to appreciate the diversity of humanity.
Through PSYCHOLOGY, SOCIOLOGY, TRAVEL, international cuisine, architecture, and interior design, I observe and absorb other cultures, finding the commonalities between us! Everybody eats, sleeps, craps and does the nasty!
ART also binds us together as a species. GRAFFITI is an especially good representation of society. Humans have scribbled, scratched, painted and altered surfaces the world over. Graffiti is the earliest form of artistic expression known to us, found within the caves and among the ruins of all ancient civilizations. Graffiti is there, in and around the Pyramids and throughout the Greek and Roman Empires. The writings on the walls have always been an accurate reflection of a particular society, from the perspective of the common folk that put it there. They are part of our human heritage.
